Introduction

Welcome to Ivy6 (“the App”), a native iOS productivity application developed by Giuseppe Pignataro (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how Ivy6 handles information in connection with your use of the App.

Ivy6 is built with a privacy-first architecture: all data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to external servers or third parties.

Information We Collect

Ivy6 does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.

All information you enter into the App — including task names, priorities, focus durations, and completion history — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework (a local SQLite-based database). This data never leaves your device.

Specifically, the App may store locally:

• Task titles and descriptions you create
• Task priority order and status (completed, pending, rolled over)
• Focus session durations tied to individual tasks
• Completion timestamps for the task history log

Data Sharing

We do not share your data with any third parties. There are no:

• Analytics SDKs or tracking libraries
• Advertising networks
• Remote databases or cloud backends
• Third-party login or authentication services

Apple System Integrations

Ivy6 integrates with native Apple system features. These integrations are governed by Apple’s own privacy policies and handled entirely on-device:

• WidgetKit: Displays your top-priority tasks on the Home Screen and Lock Screen. Widget data is shared locally via App Groups (Shared UserDefaults) between the main app and the widget extension — no data leaves your device.
• Siri & App Intents: Voice shortcuts allow you to add tasks or query your current focus task. Siri interactions are processed by Apple on-device or via Apple’s privacy-preserving infrastructure. Ivy6 does not receive or store any voice data.
• App Icon Badge: Displays a count of incomplete daily tasks using the system notification badge API. No notification content or personal data is transmitted.
• Quick Actions (Home Screen Shortcuts): Contextual shortcuts based on your current task list, processed entirely on-device.

iCloud & Sync

Ivy6 does not use iCloud or any cloud synchronization service in its current version. All data is local to the specific device where the App is installed. If you delete the App, all associated data will be permanently removed from your device.

Data Retention & Deletion

Since all data resides solely on your device:

• You can delete individual tasks at any time within the App (via swipe gesture in the Task History Log).
• You can delete all app data at any time by uninstalling Ivy6 from your device.
• No data is retained by us after deletion.

Children’s Privacy

Ivy6 is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Since no data is collected by us at all, there is no specific risk for minors.

Security

Because all data is stored locally on your device, its security depends on your device’s own protections (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID). We strongly encourage you to keep your device secured. Ivy6 does not implement any server-side security measures, as no server is involved.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App’s features. Any changes will be indicated by an updated “Last Updated” date above. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
