This Privacy Policy describes how Stack&Math (“the App”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information from users (“you”) who use the Stack&Math mobile application, available on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android).

3. Data We Collect

3.1 Data stored locally on your device

Stack&Math stores the following information exclusively on your device using SharedPreferences. This data is never transmitted to any external server:

Highscore — your personal best score
Tutorial status — whether you have completed the initial tutorial
Audio preferences — mute state (on/off) and music preference (on/off)

This data is permanently deleted when you uninstall the App.

3.2 Data collected by third parties (Google AdMob)

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect the following data based on your consent:

Advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android)
IP address
Ad usage and interaction data
Device information (model, operating system, language)

On iOS, before AdMob begins collecting data for personalized ads, the App requests your consent via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. You may freely accept or decline — your choice has no effect on gameplay. If you decline, you will still see non-personalized ads.

On Android, AdMob operates in accordance with Google Play policies and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for European users.

4. Purpose of Data Processing

Locally stored data is used exclusively to:

Save your game progress and preferences
Display your highscore on the menu screen

Data collected by AdMob is used to:

Display relevant advertisements
Measure ad performance

5. Legal Basis for Processing

Local data: performance of contract (provision of the game service)
AdMob data: explicit user consent (requested via ATT popup on iOS; managed through device settings on Android)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except for Google LLC (AdMob) for the advertising purposes described in section 3.2.

The App does not include:

User accounts or registration
Third-party analytics (Firebase, Mixpanel, etc.)
Social media SDKs
In-app purchases or payment processing

7. Data Retention

Data stored locally on your device is retained until you uninstall the App. Data collected by AdMob is subject to Google’s retention policies, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

If you are a resident of the European Union, you have the right to:

Access — request a copy of your personal data
Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
Erasure — request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
Objection — object to processing for marketing purposes
Withdrawal of consent — withdraw tracking consent at any time via Settings → Privacy → Tracking on iOS, or Google Settings on Android

9. Children’s Privacy

Stack&Math does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

10. Security

Since game data is stored exclusively on-device and never transmitted, the risk of data breach is minimal. For data managed by AdMob, Google applies industry-standard security measures.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
